So most people who know me, know I cannot cook/bake to save my life… I have been severely emotionally AND physically scarred due to many failed attempts… (although I am a devout Food Network fan and am inexplicably obsessed with every program on it)
HOWEVER! My best friend who never loses faith, is constantly pushing me to pick up the spatula again (spatula, right? that’s a normal cooking utensil…?) and tries desperately to convince me that the oven/stove is a friend not a foe, gave me this amazing recipe that would be very difficult to mess up.
Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies:
1 cup of sugar
1 egg
1 cup of peanut butter
And as many chocolate chips as you see fit.
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees, bake for 8-10 minutes and voila! Yummalicious cookies!
For those of us who are food novices, you should make sure to mix the egg, sugar, and peanut butter before to add in the chocolate. Also note that chocolate chunks are not as easy to incorporate as the mini-chips that we added secondly after realizing that chunks are difficult to mix and very large and kind of take over the cookie (although more chocolate still tasted DE-licious!)
Anyway! Lookie lookie I made cookies!
